Privacy Policy

Lakeshore Engineering LLC ("WireTight", "we") runs wiretight.com. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Order details: when you check out, our payment processor Stripe collects your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and payment details, and shares the order details (not your full card number) with us so we can ship your order.
• Messages: anything you send us by email.
• Technical data: our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request information to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies and local storage

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Your cart is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device and never sent to us until you check out. Stripe uses cookies on its checkout page for fraud prevention; see Stripe's privacy policy.

Third-party services

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the 3D board viewer loads code from the jsDelivr CDN. These providers receive your IP address when your browser fetches those files.

How we use it

To process and ship orders, provide support, handle returns and warranty claims, prevent fraud, and meet legal and tax obligations. We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't send marketing email unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax and warranty purposes (typically 7 years). You can ask us to delete other information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@wiretight.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we'll honor them.

Children

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above.
